Master Prophet L.E. Cohen is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up, he was aware that he was different from most but did not understand his prophetic gift at the time. Because of this and being subject to poverty conditions of his surroundings, at an early age he began living the "hard knock" life.
However, all praises to God, in 1993, he gave his life to Christ and began preaching the gospel in 1994! Since then, he has been an avid disciple having served in many capacities in the church. He served diligently and received his ministerial training from his spiritual mother and pastor the late Dr. Mary A. Jones of We're for Jesus Ministries in Jacksonville. Under her tutelage, his passion for teaching the "good news" and his prophetic gift was cultivated.
Unexpectedly, while attending one service, he came in contact with a "Man of God" that spoke into his life and changed the course of his life. Apostle J.C. Murray prophesied into the destiny of Master Prophet Cohen, pushing him into the deep as he was declared a major prophet in the land by God almighty.
Since then, he has started several churches and has ordained two evangelists, four prophetesses, nine ministers, and one elder. He operates in a Five-Fold Anointing and has ministered to thousands across the nation, including famous individuals and the like. He is founder of The Sons of Thunder Prophetic and Deliverance Ministries, Inc. Moreover, he is the founder and senior pastor of In His Presence Cathedral of Praise, Inc. (IHPCOP), which has been operation for the past six years.
This ministry began in a gymnasium and has grown to three local churches, two satellite churches, and a live radio broadcast. IHPCOP has increased in discipleship from four to more than 300, has one full-time staff personnel, and six part-time staff persons.
Specifically, he has ministered to stars like Kanye West and LaShun Pace. He has also ministered to dignitaries such as judges and politicians. He has received many testimonies from persons he has ministered to about supernatural healing from diseases like cancer, HIV, and diabetes. People have also testified of receiving other supernatural gifts like unexpected money, reunited relationships, etc. Dually noted, since the operation of IHPCOP in its current location, crime has significantly decreased in the church's vicinity as confirmed by the local police department.
Other notable accomplishments include being honored by local, state, and national officials for achievements in ministry. This includes recognition from President Barack Obama and December 31st being declared "Master Prophet L.E. Cohen's Day" by the Leon County Board of County Commissioners in Tallahassee, Florida. Additionally, for the past two years, he has accomplished a vision that has never been done in Tallahassee or its surrounding areas by planning and hosting a Citywide New Year's Eve Crusade held annually at the Tallahassee/Leon County Civic Center.
An Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, visionary and Entrepreneur, he is a proud father and the husband of Minister Latolya K. Cohen, First Lady of IHPCOP.
